How do you think Fabian Lysell has fared in preseason? 🤔

Lysell, 22, has been one of the Bruins key young players to watch in camp this year. The former first-round pick in 2021 is in a climb to crack the NHL roster for an extended period. However, this camp hasn’t gone as expected for him.

“It’s probably been the toughest [camp]. I thought maybe how it was going to work out, or at least the opportunity was going to be a little bit different,” Lysell said. “But I’ve been working hard, that’s for sure. Every single practice getting ready to play… But yeah, to be honest, it’s very disappointing.”

Although Lysell has been active in play through his two games, Marco Sturm wants to see more from him.

“I met with him, and he sees himself as an offensive guy, but I want to see both sides of it. I want to see [him] with the puck and without the puck, and in both areas. I think he can be better,” said Sturm.
