Sarah Lewis, Head Coach: 
“I am so proud of our Wales U21 squad, finishing 10th at the Netball World Youth Cup in Gibraltar.
“We faced a very tough pool that challenged us from the outset, but the way the group responded — with resilience, togetherness, and determination — was inspiring. Every athlete gave their all and wore the red dress with passion and pride. 
“This tournament also marked many first international caps, and to see those players step up onto the world stage and embrace it was a privilege. To come through with no injuries is a huge positive too, showing the strength and preparation of the team.
“For me, this is only the beginning. The growth, experience, and belief built here lay the foundations for an exciting future for Wales Netball. 
“I couldn’t be prouder of what this group has achieved — and even more excited for what’s still to come.”

Thea Rhodes, Captain: 
“The World Youth Cup was an experience we will never forget. We all had such an incredible time, both on and off the court. I am proud of all the girls for performing amazingly on the world stage. Top 10 in the world is such an unbelievable achievement! Forever grateful to wear the red dress!”🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬

“Funniest memory of Gibraltar for me was when the monkeys went into Eluned and Mia’s room and ate the chocolates and totally messed up their room looking for food!” 🐒
