True freshman receiver Dallas Wilson made an unforgettable first impression in The Swamp, powering Florida’s 29–21 upset over No. 9 Texas with a dominant debut performance out wide.

After missing the start of the season with a foot injury, the Tampa native erupted for 6 catches, 111 yards, and 2 touchdowns, including a spectacular 55-yard catch-and-run where he broke multiple tackles and refused to go down – dragging Longhorn defenders into the end zone. Wilson’s physicality, balance, and burst gave the Gators offense new life and sent the Gainesville crowd of 90,714 into a frenzy.

Paired with DJ Lagway’s 289-yard, 2-TD passing performance, Wilson helped Florida snap a three-game skid and hand Texas its second loss of the season.
