I made a batch of pumpkin butter from scratch, then whipped it up with real butter and a shot of espresso for the dreamiest Pumpkin Spice Latte Butter. Sweet, spiced, with a little coffee kick. Iit’s basically autumn in every bite. Fluffy, creamy, a little salty, and perfect on a warm muffin. Basically, fall on a plate. You can now find stone_and_skillet products at your local publix. 

Yield one cup
Ingredients:

For the whipped butter

1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup homemade pumpkin butter
1 shot cooled espresso
1–2 Tbsp powdered sugar (optional, for sweetness)
Pinch of flaky salt

For the pumpkin butter

1 can (15 oz) pumpkin purée
½ cup brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp pumpkin spice
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Pinch of salt

Method:

In a saucepan, combine pumpkin, apple cider vinegar, sugar, maple, spices, and salt.
Simmer over low heat 20–30 minutes, stirring often, until thickened and glossy.
Let cool completely before using.
Beat softened butter until light and fluffy.
Mix in pumpkin butter and espresso until smooth and creamy.
Sweeten with powdered sugar or maple syrup if desired, then finish with a pinch of salt.
Chill until firm or keep soft for immediate spreading.
Slather on Pumpkin Spice English muffins and enjoy.
