Today, on Truth and Reconciliation Day, we’re spotlighting the Experiences Canada’s Youth Exchange Program—an inspiring initiative that connects northern Indigenous youth to sport, community, and opportunity.
 
In March, Toronto High Park FC, in partnership with LCI Sports, Indigenous Sport and Wellness Ontario (ISWO) and Experiences Canada hosted a soccer clinic for Inuit girls from Rankin Inlet. This event brought together youth from the Arctic and the GTA, showing how soccer can be a powerful tool for connection, healing, and inclusion.
 
As part of Ontario Soccer, Toronto High Park FC continues to lead by example—building bridges between communities and creating spaces where all youth feel seen, valued, and empowered.
 
At Ontario Soccer, we are committed to building inclusive communities by listening, learning, and supporting Indigenous-led initiatives. 
 
We believe in the power of sport to foster reconciliation, and we’re proud to share stories like this that reflect meaningful action.
