I’ve been fortunate enough to fly business class a number of times for work, and over the years I’ve gathered some thoughts about the options. Here’s my honest take (from my personal experience) scored on comfort, service, privacy, food and design:

✈️ QATAR AIRWAYS – 10/10
Perfection at cruising altitude. Qsuites = untouchable. Flawless service and the best inflight food I’ve ever had. My absolute favorite!
✈️ DELTA ONE (Suite) – 9/10
Top-tier for a U.S. airline. Solid all around, plus private and polished. 
✈️ BRITISH AIRWAYS (New Club World Suite) – 8.5/10
BA has some really lacking business class product out there, but the new Club World suites are sleek, cocoon-like and genuinely impressive.
✈️ SINGAPORE AIRLINES – 8/10
Elegant and reliable. Service is stellar, menus refined, though some cabins feel a bit dated.
✈️ VIRGIN ATLANTIC – 7.5/10
Stylish vibes and nice service. The pink/purple lights can feel a bit much and cabin styles vary.
✈️ QANTAS – 7/10
Perfectly pleasant. Clean, comfortable and consistent. A safe bet, but nothing standout.
✈️ EMIRATES – 7/10
Glam, yes. But I heard so much hype and felt a bit underwhelmed? I wanted more privacy (and we saw major variety in cabins across our 4 flights so depends on the aircraft). 
✈️ AMERICAN AIRLINES – 5/10
Functional, but uninspired. Felt more domestic than deluxe with lackluster food and awkward lighting (red, white and blue felt a bit too on the nose…)
