Lorde has joined the No Music For Gen0cide campaign – a cultural boycott that involves artists geo-blocking their music from being streamed in Israel.

Other queer or LGBTQ+-allied artists that have joined the campaign include MUNA, Rina Sawayama, Björk and MARINA.

In a statement released on social media, the movement organisers said: “Since nmfg’s launch just a couple weeks ago, 600+ new artists have already joined the boycott.”

They added: “We also appreciate everyone who’s joined this boycott and taken additional steps, knowing No Music For Gen0cide is just one tangible action in a broader movement.”
