The first Shayz Dayz game I captured was of maxsallstars and some of the first people to be featured were my friends from the team. The maxsallstars roster mainly consisted of my friends from college and beyond plus my twin bro, so it was easy for me to get more comfy as I tried out my Shayz Dayz idea and mark certain games to catch in the city. They def. served as a big support system as I kicked things off, and they still do. Max set up my Shayz Dayz 10th Aanniversary gathering at eastendnyc after our West 4th link up, and I got to celebrate with some maxsallstars fam along with a few other friends. Thank you Max for the maxallstars celebration that day(it ended up being an Everything Celebration to include the graduate and all of the b-day peopleπŸ˜ƒπŸŽ‰) & thank you to everyone that popped out! I started Shayz Dayz because I wanted to combine my passions of basketball and the arts(which encompasses many things). When I first started I was pretty much the only one w/ a cam game hopping all over the city. Of course, as a woman I was questioned about what I was doing and many thought I was a guy when I posted my coverage. After I put my time in and stayed consistent, people def. caught on. This platform and lane I created has led me to sooo much- a deeper relationship with the b-ball community, campaigns, a sneaker release, docu series, NY Sports EMMY, photo gallery feature, other special features, panels, youth givebacks, and more.
