## Caption

For Women's History Month last month(I know I'm late), in partnership with jumpman23 , I hosted a "Create & EmpowHer" event for the csee_owls_athletics middle school girls basketball team. The girls painted and decorated personal affirmations on the back of shooting shirts and then broke in some Jordan kicks during their last practice of the season. The event allowed the girls to dedicate time to think of words and create something that promoted self upliftment and empowerment. My intention was to help them focus on positive thoughts about themselves as those are the thoughts that will push them through the negative ones- not just as a player, but as a person.

PS- The shooting shirts were worn before their championship game the next day... which they wonnn🏆💃🏽💪🏽.
