🇨🇦 RECAP – Day 9
Canada wraps up the World Para Athletics Championships with a flurry of medals! 🥇🥈🥉
🥉 Austin Smeenk opened the day with BRONZE in the T34 800m.
Renee Foessel finished 5th in the F38 Discus with a best throw of 30.76m.
Chloe Dunbar ran 26.29 in Heat 2 of the T47 200m semi-finals, but did not advance.
Sheriauna Haase clocked a Season’s Best 25.69 in Heat 1, advanced to the final, and placed 8th in the T47 200m.
In the T38 1500m, Nate Tucker stormed to 🥇 GOLD in 3:57.98, while Liam Stanley finished 7th in 4:07.31.
🥈 Closing out the Championships, Marissa Papaconstantinou raced to SILVER in the T64 200m finals with a time of 27.02!

🥉 Austin Smeenk a lancé la journée avec une médaille de BRONZE au 800 m T34.
Renee Foessel a terminé 5e au disque F38 avec un meilleur lancer de 30,76 m.
Chloe Dunbar a couru 26,29 en demi-finale (série 2) du 200 m T47, mais n’a pas accédé à la finale.
Sheriauna Haase a réalisé un meilleur temps de saison avec 25,69 en série 1, s’est qualifiée pour la finale et a pris la 8e place du 200 m T47.
Au 1500 m T38, Nate Tucker a décroché l’🥇 OR avec un temps de 3:57,98, tandis que Liam Stanley a terminé 7e en 4:07,31.
