I felt so bad every time we’d be sitting outside and see a teeny hummingbird fly by, clearly looking for nectar, and we had nothing to give them 🥺 Doing something small like this is such a big thing for such tiny creatures. It may sound melodramatic, but it’s such a sweet way to take a pause from the chaos of our current world and take the time to care for something outside of our daily scope of life. 

Ingredients:
• 4 parts water (I did 4 cups)
• 1 part granulated sugar (I did 1 cup)

• Combine water and sugar over high heat and boil until the sugar has completely dissolved
• Allow to cool until it reaches room temperature
• Pour into a clean, glass hummingbird feeder
