INJURY UPDATES: Devils Head Coach Sheldon Keefe provided a couple of injury updates following this afternoon’s practice:

- D Seamus Casey (lower body) will not be back on skates in the near future. He’s once again dealing with the same lower-body issue from earlier in camp the sidelined him the first two games. Keefe said there was a portion of camp where Casey was not upfront to the staff about what he was dealing with.
- F Juho Lammikko (undisclosed) will not be available in the near future. He left practice early yesterday with an apparent injury, shown limping off the ice.
- D Brett Pesce (undisclosed) will skate on his own this afternoon but is still being evaluated. His status for next week is unclear after leaving yesterday’s preseason game early.
- F Stefan Noesen (groin) skated briefly with the team the past two days, but was not a full participant on line combinations. Keefe says there’s no change to his status and he still isn’t close to returning.

Other injuries with no updates today:
- Jonathan Kovacevic (knee surgery) out indefinitely, timeline is 2026.
- Marc McLaughlin (undisclosed) will be out the remainder of camp. Timeline TBD.
