Even though it may not feel like it when our community suffers a loss of one of our neighbors, Detroit is once again seeing a significant  reduction in violent crime. 

Through the first three quarters of 2025: 

📉 Homicides are down 15%
📉 Shootings are down 22%
📉 Carjackings are down 29%

Success doesn’t happen overnight, but together with our many partners in this work, we are proving that change is possible. Detroit’s heart is strong, and our commitment to a safer, stronger city will never fade.
