Did you know that traffic cones come in many different colors, all with different meanings? The use of lime green cones, as opposed to traditional orange, doesn’t have an exact designation from OSHA, but does have a purpose. The most common use is to alert drivers of workers in the road, so by pairing the cone to the same color as the safety gear worn by road crews, drivers are subconsciously more alert.
