Me today. Sunday is my day within my friend group to show up fully for our friends. IYKYK. That smile is my gratitude for God’s grace. I laughed and pretended that I baked chocolate chip cookies (SweetBoy) and made rotisserie chicken (California Chicken Cafe) and home made Chinese chicken salad (Cali chicken Cafe). I don’t think anyone was fooled that I actually cooked a thing BUT I am an Academy Award Winner… so they might’ve believed it; but, I enjoyed quality time and stood as a beneficiary of the Lord’s grace in all the deep laughter from all of us today! Hmm, I wonder what long guarded Spencer family recipe I will make next week? (Bbq from Bludsoes) or Italian from (Mama’s) mmmm! I feel like making a lasagna with garlic bread. Don’t rat me out. Shhhhhh! 😂😂😂😂Things are nuts out there but keep it together. Show up for your friends and family who need you. It’s also given me the pep in my step to dominate Menny this week despite everything else. She’s fully moved in with all of her entourage: frozen shoulders, stiff everything, thin… hair and PATIENCE!
