We’re proud to announce a first-of-its-kind renewable energy agreement, making AEG’s UK venues – including theo2london, indigoattheo2, eventimapollo watford.colosseum, and thehallswolverhampton at – the first in the industry to run on the country’s cleanest, greenest energy mix, setting a new benchmark for sustainability across live entertainment.

In collaboration with ecotricity, the new agreement combines Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with a 100% renewable energy supply backed by hourly-matched Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) – delivering unprecedented transparency and audit-level verification of our energy use.

This milestone builds on the sustainability progress we’ve already made – from hosting the world’s first carbon-removed events at The O2, to rolling out permanent reusable cup schemes, lower-carbon menus, biodegradable serve ware, and several other carbon-reduction projects across our European network. Each step is about raising the bar higher and showing what’s possible without compromising the magic of live entertainment.
