What does Latinx Heritage month mean to me? 

“A reminder of where I come from; my brave and resilient ancestors that have fought for me and my family to be here. As we approach the Independence Day of some Latin American countries, I am filled with joy that my people fought for freedom and continue to do so. I am reminded to never give up, to always stand strong because the blood of my ancestors who fought for their freedom runs through my veins."
