I couldn’t tell my friends. I was so embarrassed. 

My anxiety made me scared to go to new places, scared to meet new people. 

But after receiving my patriarchal blessing, I wanted to fight my anxiety and to succeed in life in all the ways the blessing said I would. I still felt worry, fear, and concern, so I prayed for the Lord to help me. He saw my desire for betterment and helped me improve. 

Today I’m stronger than ever. It’s not fully beaten, but it’s miles beyond what I ever perceived possible. I realized we have to experience the bad in order to be able to relish the good. Jesus Christ has the power to change the world, but only if we let Him change us. 

To anyone who feels like they’re drowning, I encourage you to seek Him out. Look unto Him in every thought. Doubt not, and you’ll fear not, just like I did. —Grace #LookUntoChrist
