🚨 Curfew & Public Safety Reminder🚨

To keep our community safe, deputies will be stepping up curfew enforcement and addressing other late-night violations across SCV.

🕙 Youth Curfew (Under 18):
 10 PM – 6 AM Daily

11.56.020 SCMC Curfew Restrictions for Minors

Minors are not allowed in public places during these hours unless:

• With a parent/guardian 18+

• Traveling to/from work, school, or a supervised event

• In an emergency or with written permission for a lawful purpose

🚫 Other Late-Night Violations:

• ❌ Drinking alcohol in public = Misdemeanor (11.18.010 SCMC)

• ❌ Smoking in public areas or parks (9.50.050 SCMC)

• ❌ Being in parks after 10 PM (14.06.020 SCMC)

• ❌ Loitering on private property without lawful reason (CA PC 647(h))

👪 Parents: You can be held legally responsible if you allow or encourage your child to break curfew laws.
