My parents are asking where the last 1% is 😅 love reading these reviews from those who matter most: the audience, the fans, the people! I appreciate y’all ❤️

This past month I’ve gotten a ton of sexist comments and DMs by angry dudes, people confused at my sexual content (somehow still unaware I’m promoting a sex comedy?!) and been told several times, “I lost myself.” No one is shocked. It’s crazy how dramatic and triggered people get over a sexually confident woman. Like, where’s this energy when your fav male rapper talks about his peen for 3 mins straight… lollll tuuu randeyyyy yaar ✋🏽

But the truth is, I’ve never felt more myself and more proud of any project. I’m actually quite proud of myself for not spiralling and I think that’s because I believe in this movie so much. Also, if I’m being honest, I don’t care about the opinion of someone who is mad about a woman feeling sexy. That seems like a them problem 🤷🏽‍♀️

But the number of messages I’ve gotten from all types of people, but especially women, saying they felt so seen when watching doinitmovie has outweighed any tomfoolery and made it totally worth it. I’ve had people confess things to me, confide in me, and open up to me in really meaningful ways. And that’s what matters most to me. My heart is so extremely full ❤️

So if you’re uncomfortable with women talking about sex or feeling sexually liberated, you should probably get off my page and go to therapy.
