Post Game Keys

1.Trust God during times of adversity, knowing he has your best interest at heart.

2.Memorize Isaiah 41:10 or write it down (or print it out) and hang it up where you can see it daily as a reminder that God is faithful.

3.Create a Spiritual First Aid Kit:
* Write the following Scriptures on note cards: Isaiah 40:29-31;
Philippians 3:14; and 1 Timothy 4:12. These will be your go-to when you feel defeated or upset about your circumstances.

- Make a worship playlist with songs that help you focus on Jesus and all he is and has done for you.

* Choose a book you believe would be a great read during tough times to help bring your spirits up and center your mind back on Jesus. (One example would be The Way of the Warrior by Erwin Raphael McManus.) Read the book while you’re waiting for rehab appointments.

* Purchase your favorite healthy snacks from the grocery store.
Eat them before or after rehab sessions to remind yourself to stay strong and healthy.

• Gather all of the above items and put them in your Spiritual First Aid Kit so you’re prepared for the adversity of injury. Also, label that playlist on your phone or device so you know what it’s for. Now, you’re prepared and reminded to not give up on faith, knowing that God always has your back.
