we don’t deserve dogs and yet because we have them we get to touch a little bit of heaven on earth every day

stevie came into my life just 5 months before my dad passed. I thought we were writing this song about my dad but after listening back to it I saw this other pov in the song …. I’m so scared to lose my stevie. 

it makes so much sense that I wrote this with my best friend arilask and brucewiegner because I felt so comfortable going to this place that’s hard to look at.
