Tonight… the 4th night of Sukkot is the Hillula of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. 

He said that hitbodedut (secluded prayer) is higher and greater than everything. When you speak to God in your native language, the words are closer to your heart and will flow more easily. 
No matter what a person is lacking in worshipping God, even if he is totally and absolutely distant from God’s service, he should speak about it all and ask it of God. 

Even if occasionally a persons words are sealed and he cannot open his mouth to say anything, this itself is nonetheless very good. 
Moreover, it is possible to make a conversation and prayer out of this itself. (Likutey Moharan II 25)

Rebbe Nachman speaks about the greatness of praying in the fields, among the grasses, which give strength to one’s prayers because they too sing 🎶 God’s praises and their prayers and energy are included in the person who prays among them.

This video was shot in Uman in “Gan Sophia”! One of the places Rebbe Nachman actually did hitbodedut. The song is my hitbodedut. There was a time when I went many days without talking to Him. I was going through a very hard time. (And I still have those). And I remember feeling empty. But I eventually started over and over and over and over and over again. I never give up. 

The perfect prayer is the one from your place of truth. 

To be able to share this song on tonight is something very special that I don’t know how to express. 

In Rebbe Nachman’s merit, may this song help bring people closer to Hashem.
