This past Friday, dedicated food service leaders, passionate organic farmers, and committed community stakeholders gathered at Frog Hollow Farm to launch the Organic Farm-to-School Road Tour, an inspiring movement led by consciouskitchn to transform school food through local, organic partnerships.

Beneath the trees at froghollowfarm, we toured the orchard with Farmer Al, heard from Judi Shils (Founder & Executive Director of turninggreenorg and Conscious Kitchen), and participated in a thoughtful roundtable discussion where food service directors shared both challenges and successes from their own districts.

Special shoutout to Farmer Al, Becky, Chef Mario Ishii Hernandez, and Lael for graciously hosting the group, and for the vibrant, seasonal lunch featuring peak Brentwood produce.
