Virgil Buntain stands with his 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk after winning the Arapahoe High School charity car show sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of Littleton Saturday, Oct. 4. Along with raising money for the AHS Holiday Toy Drive, participants voted on which cars they liked the best in the final 30 minutes of the show via an online survey. Second and third place winners were a 1961 Chevrolet Impala convertible and a Buick Grand Sport 455. “We’re big believers in charity for schools or causes. We have a big charity we raise money for for our daughter, Hydrocephalus Association. So we’re raising money and having fun,” 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe owner Nick Hoffman said.
