As we continue celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re proud to highlight current Ballet Trainee, Ximena Chang, who also supports the Children’s & Youth Ballet Programs as a class teacher's assistant. Ximena shared her heritage with our young dancers by introducing them to “Las Chiapanecas,” a traditional dance from Chiapas, Mexico.⁠

With joy and care, she guided the students through each step, offering them a window into the vibrant culture that has shaped her own journey in dance. Experiences like this remind us how movement can connect generations, celebrate identity, and bring communities together.⁠
