Carribean shepherd’s pie / Pastelón de Yuca (full recipe will be on substack tomorrow 💌)  This is a pretty popular meal where you take a traditional shepherd’s or cottage pie, swap the mince for picadillo, and the crispy mashed potato layer for mashed yuca.  My toxic traight tho is making everything fusion so I kept some more traditional elements of flavors to incorporate into each layer, but the end result is DELICIOUS - not to mention you have a bunch of leftovers 😮‍💨 #shepherdspie #cottagepie #latinfood #dinnerideas #easyrecipes
