I finally realized why my Mario Kart Love Song covers were never syncing right... 

I was using the YouTube version for my edits but recording vocals over the studio version. Once I lined them up properly, everything clicked. This clip is from my first pass of vocals and fun edits, from “a blue shell is coming so I’ll go ahead” through “let’s go again.”
