Mais qui est donc dans ce scaphandre ? 🧑‍🚀🙋‍♂️🤫 Aujourd’hui, l’ESA dévoile le tout nouveau bâtiment #LUNA au Centre des astronautes à Cologne 🇩🇪. C’est une installation unique au monde qui recrée avec précision l’environnement lunaire, pour préparer les astronautes, ingénieurs et scientifiques aux futures missions sur notre satellite 🤩. On va pouvoir tester des équipements, simuler des opérations, et s’entraîner à nos futures missions ! 👣 Cette étape nous rapproche encore du moment où un Européen posera le pied sur la Lune 🇪🇺.  I think I found my favorite outfit! 🧑‍🚀 Today, ESA is unveiling the brand-new LUNA building of the European Astronaut Centre in Köln (Germany) 🇩🇪. This analogue environment truly feels like being on the Moon 🌕! It is a cutting-edge, one-of-a-kind facility that will help astronauts, engineers, and scientists prepare adequately for future lunar missions 🤩. The facility stands out because it replicates the Moon’s surface with extreme precision, even simulating its gravity (through a load alleviating system) and lighting conditions. A world premiere! We’ll test the technologies, simulate the operations, and we might even rehearse the first words of a European on the Moon! 😉 This step is essential for the upcoming lunar missions of the Artemis program🚀, bringing us closer to the day when a European will set foot on the Moon 🇪🇺, as part of multinational crew.
