Besoin de s’évader un peu ? Les Lauréats du concours annuel “Astronomy Photographer of the Year” du Royal Museum Greenwich viennent d’être annoncés, et il y a comme chaque année des œuvres très poétiques 🤩 (en plus d’être hyper difficiles à réaliser🛠️). Particulièrement dans la catégorie “People and Space”, qui illustre comment l’humain s’inscrit dans l’immensité de l’espace 👨‍🚀🌍. Les photos gagnantes sont toutes plus magnifiques les unes que les autres 🏆, c’est surtout l’occasion de rappeler qu’ici sur Terre... on est déjà dans l’espace, et on participe, sans toujours en être bien conscients, à ce grand ballet cosmique tellement fascinant ! Bravo aux gagnants, pour avoir fait un peu de photo depuis l’ISS, je devine à quel point ces clichés sont techniquement difficiles 👏

Starting the week with some inspiration, here are the incredible winning images from the Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2024 competition, in the “People and Space”category! 
These earthly shots showcase clearly how humanity is immersed in the vastness of space 🚀, even if we tend to forget it when we’re busy with our daily lives. From the ISS transiting the Sun 🌞, to light trails of Venus and Jupiter above city skylines 🌃, or the countless satellites streaks in the night sky 🛰️🌙, how could you not be blown away ! Congrats to the winners 🏆
