🤨 Mais où est #MattDamon quand on a besoin de lui ? Cette semaine, mes camarades du stage PANGAEA de l’esa et moi, sommes presque seuls sur Mars 🔴enfin Lanzarote. Connue comme l'île aux mille volcans 🌋, ce territoire des Canaries 🇪🇸a été choisi en raison de sa similitude géologique avec Mars. Son origine volcanique, les processus géologiques peu intenses dus à son climat sec, sa végétation pratiquement inexistante et son paysage bien préservé, il ne manque plus que les scaphandres pour s’y croire ! europeanspaceagency

Of course, we still have some way to go before a manned Martian mission lifts off, but we’re laying the groundwork. The last week of our #PANGAEA exploration and geology training is taking us to a Martian analog site, in the Canary islands.
