Chocolate in space? Absolutely. 🍫

From birthday candles to culinary “creations,” astronauts have found all kinds of ways to enjoy a sweet treat while orbiting Earth.

- astro_andreas tested chocolate mousse as part of a cooking-in-space experiment
- astro.megan’s 50th birthday featured chocolate candles and celebration cookies
- thom_astro turned a flour tortilla into a chocolate crêpe in a hilarious attempt at “space cooking” – and was thrilled to receive his stash of chocolate bars on a cargo resupply

Food in space is more than just nutrition – it’s comfort, connection and a little piece of home. So this World Chocolate Day, we’d love to hear from you.

What chocolate treat would you take to space?

Tell us in the comments and celebrate the sweet side of space life with us.
