Ariane 6 takes flight—again! 🚀

Europe’s newest heavy-lift rocket, Ariane 6, has successfully launched for the second time, marking a historic first commercial flight!

- Lift-off: 6 March, 13:24 local time (17:24 CET)
- Launch site: Europe’s Spaceport, French Guiana
- Mission: Deliver the CSO-3 satellite to orbit for the armeedelair

This flight, operated by Arianespace, successfully demonstrated key capabilities of Ariane 6, including:
- Auxiliary Propulsion Unit reignition
- Vinci engine’s third boost
- Controlled deorbiting of the upper stage to minimise space debris

Why is this important?
This mission is a major milestone for Europe’s independent access to space, with more Ariane 6 launches planned in 2025! The rocket’s modular design allows it to handle a wide range of missions, from low-Earth orbit to deep space.

This is just the beginning of Ariane 6’s journey. More launches, more missions, more innovation—stay tuned!
