When looking at deforestation in the Amazon, I can't help noticing that central Europe was also once densely covered by forest. / Wenn ich die Rodungen im Amazonaswald sehe, so fällt mir ebenfalls auf, dass auch Mitteleuropa einst von dichten Wäldern bedeckt war.
