🚀 From digital education to ocean protection and food security, space technologies are tackling development challenges on Earth. #UNOOSA Director Aarti Holla-Maini recently attended the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development in 🇪🇸 Sevilla, hosted by the Ministerio de Defensa Español, Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain, and Agencia Espacial Española (AEE). 

She joined Ana María Molina Sánchez of Hispasat, Rodrigo Leonardi of Brazilian Space Agency (AEB/MCTI), Laura Delgado Lopez, and Juan Carlos Cortés of AEE to discuss how to finance space applications and transform those investments into real-world solutions.

 UNOOSA is already helping countries like 🇰🇪 Kenya, 🇬🇹 Guatemala & 🇲🇺 Mauritius with tools like: 
🔹Digital twins for disaster preparedness 
🔹Space law support to attract private investment 
🔹Initiatives like #Space4Water, #Space4Women, and #Space4Youth 

🤝 We’re showing what’s possible when governments, agencies, and industry work together. That spirit of collaboration was on full display as Hispasat and AEE came together under a new MoU -- signed by 🇪🇸 Minister of Science and Innovation Diana Morant Ripoll and witnessed by Director Holla-Maini-- to provide free satellite internet for public education in Spain and the Americas.
