🌍 Earth observation is humanity’s eyes in space — and #UNOOSA brings that vision down to Earth. On the opening day of the europeanspaceagency Living Planet Symposium (#LPS25) in 🇦🇹 Vienna, Director Aarti Holla-Maini addressed space experts and professionals with a clear message: Space can turn a Living Planet into a Knowing Planet, where every community can foresee risk before it strikes. 

🌌 From digital twins in 🇹🇴 Tonga, 🇬🇭 Ghana, and 🇹🇹 Trinidad & Tobago that save lives, to the launch of the new UN Inter-Agency Procurement Hub for Earth Observation Imagery, and our role as a founding member of the #Space4Ocean Alliance, UNOOSA is helping bridge the space data divide by: 

🔭 Developing sector-specific toolkits and dashboards for real-time monitoring of SDG topics like food security and water management 

🌱 Co-designing models with governments, to predict drought or issue deforestation alerts 

🛰️ Partnering with the private sector through joint innovation challenges and start-up accelerators
