⏳ What time is it on the Moon? 🌙 How do we prevent astronauts from getting lost? 🚀 Can we make lunar landings safer? 

By 2040, up to 1000 people could be living on the #Moon.  As time moves 56 microseconds a day faster on the Moon, the sun can be up for 14 days at a time, and some mountains never experience nights, the international community needs a common, Moon-tailored way of keeping track of time. As humanity prepares for long-term lunar missions and settlements a reliable navigation and communication system will also be indispensable.

In our latest #UNOOSA101 video, Dr. Javier Ventura-Traveset - Head of Navigation Science Office & ESA Lunar PNT Coordination at the European Space Agency explains:
