Are you experienced in space economy, project management, and research? The United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs is #hiring a Consultant to support the next phase of our Space Economy Project with the 🇧🇷 Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) and 🇺🇳 The United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

📝 You will develop a strategic roadmap to strengthen Brazil’s #SpaceEconomy, which will focus on: 

🔹Developing a competitive, dynamic, diverse and sustainable space economy, including a thriving commercial space market with national and international perspectives;
🔹Developing infrastructure and networks for promoting space innovation and entrepreneurship;
🔹Maximising the socio-economic benefits of space-based applications, including for driving economic growth in non-space sectors, such as agriculture.

⏰Duration: 100 days 3 March – 29 August 2025
📍Location: Remote, with travel to São Paulo in April 2025
✨Requirements:

  Advanced degree in economics, business, or a related field
  7+ years of relevant experience in space economy
  Fluency in English (Portuguese is desirable)
