Entering the new year looking at the moon , wishing you all a magical 2025 filled with love and magic 💫🪄 first image : As a part of my long-term project on the future of space, I’m documenting the building of the new station that will orbit the Moon. Space exploration is entering a new era with the NASA Artemis campaign and all the connected projects, like the Gateway, an international space station orbiting the Moon that will facilitate sustained human exploration missions to the lunar surface and beyond.
In the image: The initial stages of manufacturing of Lunar I-Hab, the europeanspaceagency European Space Agency’s habitation module that will provide live quarters for astronauts visiting the Gateway. Lunar I-Hab is in Turin (Italy) at thalesaleniaspace Thales Alenia Space, where technicians work on its primary structure.
The module will constitute an essential element for the new international station that will orbit the Moon as part of the Artemis program. For gallerieditalia
