🇵🇱 Atlantis, który widzicie na zdjęciach, od 1985 roku odbył 33 misje w kosmos i zakończył program promu kosmicznego ostatnią misją STS-135 w lipcu 2011 roku 🚀

Na swoim pokładzie Atlantis wyniósł m.in. sondy kosmiczne Magellan oraz Galileo, teleskop kosmiczny Comptona, a w roku 2008 laboratorium kosmiczne Columbus – moduł Międzynarodowej Stacji Kosmicznej skonstruowany przez ESA. Atlantis odegrał też znaczną rolę w samej budowie Międzynarodowej Stacji Kosmicznej 🛰

✨ Co ciekawe, ten prom spędził w przestrzeni kosmicznej 306 dni, okrążył Ziemię łącznie 4848 razy, pokonując ponad 200 milionów kilometrów, co stanowi więcej niż 525-krotność odległości między Ziemią a Księżycem. Łącznie w kosmos zabrał 191 astronautów.

🇬🇧 Atlantis, which you see in the pictures, conducted 33 space missions from 1985 to its final mission, STS-135, in July 2011, marking the end of the space shuttle program 🚀

During its missions, Atlantis, among others, delivered the Magellan and Galileo space probes, the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory, and in 2008, the Columbus laboratory – a module of the International Space Station constructed by ESA. Atlantis played a significant role in the construction of the ISS itself 🛰

✨ Interestingly, this space shuttle spent 306 days in space, orbited the Earth 4,848 times, covering over 200 million kilometres, which is more than 525 times the distance between Earth and the Moon. In total, Atlantis carried 191 astronauts into space.
