On 16-17 November 2024, Uranus takes center stage as it reaches opposition—when the Earth aligns directly between the Sun and the planet. This alignment makes Uranus shine brighter and appear clearer in our sky, offering a perfect opportunity to celebrate this icy giant and its captivating mysteries!

Fun Facts About Uranus:
1. A cosmic oddball: Uranus rotates on its side, likely due to a massive collision billions of years ago. This unique tilt creates extreme seasons, with each pole experiencing 42 years of sunlight followed by 42 years of darkness!

2. A stormy world: Beneath its serene blue-green atmosphere lies a turbulent world of ice and gas, with winds reaching up to 900 km/h.

3. Rings & moons: Uranus has a faint ring system and 27 moons, charmingly named after characters from Shakespeare, like Titania, Oberon, and Miranda.
