## Caption

As I sit here eating my entire box of Mac & Cheese (see story)… I’m thinking of all the runs I have done in preparation for my marathon. 

I’m not overly excited or nervous for tomorrow, of course that could change tomorrow as I drive to the start of the race. But I am thinking of my journey with this training. The process I have gone through to train for this marathon and I have truly enjoyed it and I will miss the long runs that had to plan. 

The solitude of running by myself. Listening to my music. Processing my thoughts and emotions that I have compartmentalized over the past few months. Allowing my body to adjust to a different type of training that I haven’t done in years. 

The training was therapy for me. Movement has always been therapy for me. A place to help me feel at home. To challenge me. To push me. To allow me to be me with no standards or expectations. 

As I spoke about mindset, positive self talk, being patient, enjoying the process and much more at my Mindset Workshop today, I am reflecting and am truly appreciative for enjoying this opportunity that I gave to myself. Cheers to the journey 🤍
