#GMACPartner The twins think winter break = unlimited screen time. But we know that we need to keep outdoor activities a priority! 

Both Nicole and I have Myopia (better known as nearsightedness) - so we know our children have an increased risk of developing it. So, we do our best to limit near work, such as reading, and encourage outdoor playtime. 

Head to MyopiaAwareness.org to learn more about the disease and review available resources, schedule a comprehensive eye exam for your children, and have Myopia management conversations with an eye care professional. There are also new myopia treatment options to learn about – beyond conventional contacts and glasses. 

We are keeping things simple, create scavenger hunts, continue to build on our sight sanctuary box with fun outdoor games and go on gratitude walks. Those are our go-tos!
