Nicole overheard Josiah telling his sister, “I had the best day with my Dad.” First of all, I'm her Dad too😂 Secondly, hearing that made me emotional because the feeling was mutual. 

We didn’t do much, haircuts and a lesson in grocery shopping, but it makes me realize how true it is when they say - all of the “stuff” can’t compete with TIME. 

We used to believe growing up without a father didn't matter, but it did and it does.
