My dive buddy Jack.Burke__ and I were exploring the sea lion colony at Los Islotes, inside Espiritu Santo National Park in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico. As we drifted past dozens of playful sea lions, one curious pup decided Jack’s blue fins were his new favorite toy. It’s an incredible feeling when a wild animal chooses to approach you.
