For Hispanic Heritage Month, we are proud to highlight Lissette Lucas, Artistic Director of our NYC Hip Hop Intensives. A former dancer with The Joffrey Ballet and Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Lissette’s artistry reflects a career built on versatility, leadership, and cultural pride.⁠

As an artist of Cuban descent, she brings her heritage into every space she creates, celebrating the rhythms, stories, and resilience that shaped her journey and continue to inspire her work with dancers today.⁠
