Don’t let a wildfire squash your fall fun! Let’s keep this spooky season free from unwanted wildfires.

Whenever you start a campfire, remember:
✅Have water and a shovel nearby at all times.
✅Keep it to a small, manageable size.
✅Never leave it unattended.
✅Extinguish it completely after use. If it’s too hot to touch, it’s too hot to leave!

To properly extinguish your campfire, follow the #DrownStirDrownFeel Method:
1️⃣ Drown: Pour lots of water all over the campfire, drowning all embers.
2️⃣ Stir: Using a shovel, stir dirt or sand into the embers.
3️⃣ Drown: Pour more water over the campfire until cool. 
4️⃣ Feel: Hovering your hand over the embers, feel for any remaining heat.
