One of my first open mics, I sang “got till it’s gone”. Which in this very moment, is so bittersweet. I remember being so afraid to share my voice, to share my stories, to be in the spotlight, to be judged as a fool. Now looking back after the 4 years these collectives weownthe8th & our.mic, I  visually watched not only myself but so many fellow, beautiful, brave creatives go through the same journey as I did and come into full bloom.
