The story follows two prisoners during the Dirty War in Argentina: Marxist revolutionary Valentín (Diego Luna) and Molina (Tonatiuh) a queer window dresser jailed for “immoral behavior. This, however, isn’t the first time we’ve seen this story. The story comes from Manuel Puig’s 1976 which became an Oscar-winning film in 1985 and a Tony-winning Broadway musical in 1993.
