“Selena y Los Dinos” is officially coming to Netflix on November 17 💜 Netflix confirmed on Monday that the documentary film, which captures the life of Tejana icon Selena Quintanilla through never-before-seen videos from the Quintanilla family’s personal archives and interviews with her loved ones, will premiere on the streaming platform next month. Directed by Mexican-American filmmaker Isabel Castro, “Selena y Los Dinos” premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival on January 26 and was acquired by Netflix on May 13. 

In a Netflix press statement back in May, Selena’s older sister Suzette Quintanill, who executive produced the film along with brother AB Quintanilla III, told Tudum: “We are so excited to finally share that our documentary Selena y Los Dinos is coming to Netflix! Grateful to have a platform that helps bring Selena’s story to fans around the world.”
